A look at fundraising wristbands - Part 2

White wristbands represent global fight to end poverty. This band symbolizes Make poverty history. White wristbands also symbolize themes like Jesus loves me or right to life. Blue wristbands are used to support prevention of child abuse, colon cancer, anti-bullying, prostate cancer, arthritis, animal rights, Tsunami victims, autism and so on. Teal wristbands are used to support ovarian cancer, sexual assault, gynecological cancer and anxiety disorder.

You can use any type of silicone wristbands for funding purpose. There are various types of wristbands from debossed, embossed to printed wristbands. Debossed wristbands are of the same style as live strong bracelets. Debossed refers to the fact that the design is actually recessed down into the wristband itself. These bands require a mold, so it is more expensive than printed bracelets or laser-engraved bracelets.

Embossed wristbands are more stylish and unique. An embossed bracelet also requires a mold to be manufactured. These bands are raised up off the wristband. Pricing is similar to debossed bracelets. Printed wristbands are more economical. The process of printed bands starts with a blank wristband and are then silk-screen printed. Printing of these bands can last for a longtime. These bracelets do not require a mold but instead a template is produced. Since template is used, printed wristbands are less expensive than debossed and embossed wristbands.

Laser engraved wristbands are becoming popular year after year. These bands are inexpensive but many manufacturers charge exorbitant prices. The process of making laser engraved bracelets is similar to printed wristbands. It does not require a mold; therefore, they are less expensive and enjoy quicker turnaround times than debossed and embossed bracelets.
